The COROS Nomad is a GPS sports watch designed for outdoor activities and endurance training. It utilizes multi-band and multi-GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo) support to provide accurate location data in varied environments. For navigation, the device comes equipped with global maps that include topographic layers and street names, which are viewable on its 1.3-inch Memory-in-Pixel touchscreen. The watch is constructed with a fiber-reinforced polymer case, an aluminum alloy bezel, and a hardened mineral glass screen for durability during use.

A suite of sensors enables comprehensive performance and health tracking. The optical heart rate monitor and blood oxygen sensor provide data for metrics such as VO2 Max, training load, recovery time, and HRV status. It also monitors daily activity, stress levels, and sleep quality by tracking different sleep stages. These data points are processed to offer insights into fitness, readiness, and altitude acclimation, accessible through the companion COROS App.

With over 40 pre-loaded sport profiles, the watch supports a wide range of activities from trail running to fishing. It features 32 GB of onboard storage for music, which can be played back via Bluetooth-connected headphones. Smart notifications and call alerts from a paired smartphone are displayed on the watch face. The battery is rated for up to 22 days of standard use or up to 50 hours with continuous GPS tracking active.
