The Mercusys MR3000X is an AX3000 dual-band router utilizing Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology. This model delivers a maximum combined wireless data rate of 3000 Mbit/s across both available frequencies. The 5 GHz band provides speeds up to 2402 Mbit/s for demanding tasks like 4K streaming, while the 2.4 GHz band operates up to 574 Mbit/s. Extended signal coverage is established using four fixed omni-directional antennas with a maximum gain of 5 dBi.

Wired connectivity includes one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, accommodating high-speed connections for stationary devices such as PCs or gaming consoles. The router incorporates both MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies, which manage network traffic and improve data delivery efficiency to multiple concurrent devices. The MR3000X is specified to support up to 256 connected devices simultaneously, making it suitable for densely populated home networks.
