The Keychron Q3 Max is an 80% tenkeyless mechanical keyboard built with a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum frame for a solid construction. It features tri-mode connectivity, supporting a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless connection, Bluetooth 5.1 for multi-device pairing, and a wired USB-C interface. The board is equipped with Gateron Jupiter Red linear switches, which are hot-swappable, allowing users to change switches without soldering. A 1000 Hz polling rate is available in both wired and 2.4 GHz modes to facilitate responsive input for gaming and other demanding tasks.

This keyboard offers extensive customization through QMK and VIA compatible firmware, enabling complete key remapping, macro programming, and RGB lighting configuration. An integrated rotary knob in the top-right corner provides immediate control over volume or other user-assigned functions. The device includes double-shot PBT keycaps with a KSA profile, designed for durability and a consistent feel over time. Internal acoustic foam layers are used to dampen case reverberation and refine the sound profile of each keystroke.
