The Corsair FRAME 4000D is a mid-tower ATX case constructed with a steel frame, plastic accents, and a tempered glass side panel. Its design is based on the FRAME Modular Case System, intended to provide a high degree of customization for components and cooling hardware. A 3D Y-pattern mesh front panel is engineered to promote high airflow for both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations. This model serves as a versatile foundation for system builds that require significant cooling potential and hardware flexibility, and it includes removable dust filters.

The interior accommodates motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor and CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height. For liquid cooling, the chassis supports up to three 360 mm radiators mounted simultaneously in the front, top, and side positions. An InfiniRail mounting system enables precise positioning of fans and radiators to align with component layouts. Integrated channels and tie-down points assist with cable management, maintaining an organized interior visible through the side window. The front I/O includes a USB 3.2 Type-C port and two Type-A ports.
