The EPOS IMPACT 860 is a wired, over-ear headset developed for professional communication environments. It connects directly to devices via a 1.85-meter USB-C cable, ensuring a stable connection for calls and conferencing. The binaural, closed-back design covers both ears to help isolate the user from immediate surroundings. Audio performance is handled by dynamic drivers with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, suitable for voice and general media.

Voice pickup is managed by a three-microphone array with noise-canceling technology and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to separate speech from ambient noise. The headset also includes Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) to reduce low-frequency background sounds for the user. A folding boom arm positions the directional microphone optimally and can be moved aside when not in use. Integrated on-device buttons provide direct control over calls, volume, and microphone mute functions.
