The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX are true wireless in-ear headphones engineered for music playback and voice calls. Each earbud contains a 9.2 mm dynamic driver and is tuned for a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Audio transmission is managed by Bluetooth 5.2, which includes support for aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs for stable connection and audio quality across various source devices. The design is a canal-style fit, and the package includes four sizes of silicone ear tips plus one set of Comply foam tips for a personalized and secure seal.

For an immersive listening environment, the earbuds incorporate an active noise cancelling (ANC) system that actively reduces ambient background sound. Call clarity is addressed with a system of six omnidirectional microphones that feature noise-reduction processing. The internal battery delivers up to 6 hours of playback, and the included aluminum charging case provides an additional 21 hours of use. These earbuds are built with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, and functions are operated via glass touch surfaces on each unit.
