The HYTE Y70 is a dual-chamber ATX mid-tower case constructed from steel with a three-piece panoramic tempered glass design. This configuration provides a nearly seamless view of the internal hardware from the front and side. The chassis supports a wide range of motherboards, accommodating sizes from ITX up to E-ATX for flexible system configurations. The interior is engineered for showcasing components, particularly large graphics cards, with a layout dedicated to vertical GPU mounting.

The thermal design accommodates extensive cooling hardware, including simultaneous mounting for a 360mm radiator on the top and another on the side. This dual-radiator support is suitable for custom liquid cooling loops or multiple AIO coolers. The case is engineered for vertical graphics card installation, offering four slots to fit large GPUs, and includes a PCIe riser cable for this purpose. CPU air coolers are supported up to a height of 180mm.

Its dual-chamber layout separates core components from the power supply and storage, which aids in cable management. Removable dust filters are positioned on the top, side, and bottom panels to help maintain internal cleanliness. The I/O panel provides access to two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a combination audio and microphone jack for peripheral connectivity.
