The Inter-Tech 1.5U-1528L is a server chassis designed for Mini-ITX motherboards within a compact 1.5U rackmount form factor. The case is constructed from 1.0mm thick steel, providing structural integrity suitable for professional rack installations. Its shallow depth makes it a functional option for building small, dedicated server solutions in environments where space is limited. The front panel includes standard power and reset buttons, along with LED indicators for power and HDD activity.

Internally, the layout supports a versatile storage configuration with two front-accessible, hot-swappable bays for 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives and two additional internal mounts for 2.5-inch drives. Airflow is managed by two pre-installed 60mm fans positioned at the front of the chassis. Component compatibility includes support for FlexATX power supplies and CPU coolers with a maximum height of 40mm. The chassis provides two expansion slots for half-height or low-profile cards, which require a separately sourced riser card for installation.
