Wiser battery operated - motion detector

Wiser is a smart home system that adds comfort, security, and energy efficiency to your home affordably and easily.

The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be controlled wirelessly in different ways. The Wiser phone app can be used to create convenient scene controls, schedules, or automations based on weather changes, for example. The devices also communicate with each other, so home functions can be automated to occur without user attention. The Wiser system can be installed with normal cabling or wirelessly.

The wireless motion sensor can be placed freely and can wirelessly control all Wiser devices using Zigbee. It provides information about detected motion and the ambient light brightness level, which can be used to implement automations. If necessary, the device sends a notification to the phone about detected motion, for example, when you are away.

Use case 1: The motion sensor is installed in the hallway, where the Wiser LED dimmer controls the lighting. This way, the lights can be turned on directly at the desired brightness, for example, according to the time of day: dim at night, etc. The same motion sensor can also control, for example, all the lights on the floor wirelessly.

Use case 2: The motion sensor is installed in an open space, and when the Wiser system is in Away from home mode, if the motion sensor detects motion, the indoor camera is turned on to record video if motion is detected. At the same time, a notification about the motion is sent to the phone.

Features:
The sensor detects motion from a distance of 5m with a 110° cone. So when installed on the ceiling at a height of 2.5m, the diameter of the cone near the floor is about 4m. It can also be installed on the wall.
Installation is done either with a convenient sticker or screws, which are all found in the product packaging.

Using Schneider Electric's Wiser system requires a central unit (snro 2622118, CCT501901, Matter-certified), the Wiser by SE smartphone app, a user account, and an internet connection. The use of the system is free of charge.

Can also be used in other smart home systems according to the functions they support, e.g. Homey, Home Assistant. NOTE: Using these systems requires separate applications and their use is subject to the system manufacturer's separate terms of use. The system support is provided by the system manufacturer.
