The HyperX Cloud Core Wireless is a gaming headset that connects to compatible devices via a 2.4GHz RF USB adapter, providing a low-latency audio signal. The operational wireless range extends up to 20 meters from the source. Its over-ear, closed-back earcups house 53 mm neodymium drivers, which are tuned to deliver audio across a frequency range of 10 Hz to 21,000 Hz. The headset's structure is built around a durable aluminium frame, contributing to its build quality while maintaining a weight of 281.2 grams.

For in-game communication, the headset features a detachable boom microphone with integrated noise-cancelling technology to help isolate the user's voice from ambient sounds.
