The ASUS ZenWiFi AX XT9 is a Tri-band mesh Wi-Fi system utilizing Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology to establish broad, consistent network coverage. This specific unit operates across one 2.4 GHz band and two separate 5 GHz bands, achieving a combined maximum wireless data rate of 7800 Mbit/s for efficient data distribution. The Tri-band architecture facilitates a dedicated high-speed wireless backhaul, which is critical for maintaining network performance across the specified coverage area of 264.77 square meters.

Processing tasks are handled by a dual-core 1700 MHz processor, supported by 512 MB of internal memory and 256 MB of flash storage. Wired connectivity includes three Gigabit LAN ports and one WAN/LAN port that supports up to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for high-bandwidth inputs or outputs. The system features MU-MIMO and Beamforming capabilities, optimizing signal stability and throughput for multiple simultaneous connections across the six internal antennas.
