The DeepCool AK400 White is an air cooler designed for mainstream and performance CPU cooling applications, featuring a classic single-tower heatsink architecture. Heat dissipation capability is rated up to 220W TDP, accommodating various current-generation Intel and AMD processors. The core cooling mechanism involves four 6mm copper heat pipes that establish direct contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader (IHS). This contact design efficiently transfers thermal energy away from the processor base. The heat is then dispersed through a dense array of aluminum fins, optimizing surface area for necessary cooling performance.

Thermal regulation is facilitated by a single 120mm fan, which integrates a reliable Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) to ensure extended operational lifespan, rated for 50,000 hours MTBF. The fan speed is modulated using a 4-pin Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) connection, operating within a range of 500 to 1850 RPM. At its maximum rotational speed, the fan delivers an airflow of 66.47 CFM and generates a static pressure of 2.04 mmH₂O, with a peak observed noise output of 29 dB. The cooler maintains a height of 155mm, an important metric for assessing compatibility with modern chassis restrictions.
