The ASUS ROG Delta S Animate is a wired gaming headset built around an ESS 9281 Quad DAC, which processes audio signals for each frequency range independently. This system powers 50 mm ASUS Essence drivers with neodymium magnets, supporting a frequency response of 20 to 40,000 Hz. The headset connects via a detachable USB-C cable and includes a USB-A adapter, providing compatibility with PC, Mac, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Its closed-back, over-ear design aids in isolating sound during use.

For voice communication, the headset is equipped with a detachable, unidirectional boom microphone that features AI-powered noise-cancellation to reduce background sounds. The exterior of the earcups incorporates customizable AniMe Matrix displays for visual effects, which can be configured through software. The unit weighs 310 grams and includes a second pair of ROG Hybrid ear cushions, allowing the user to choose their preferred material and fit.
