The be quiet! Pure Base 500DX is a mid-tower chassis designed for high airflow and thermal performance. Its construction features mesh front and top panels to facilitate ventilation for internal components. The case accommodates ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, offering flexibility for various build configurations. It provides extensive support for both air and liquid cooling systems, including space for large radiators on the front and top panels.

Constructed from steel, ABS plastic, and a tempered glass side panel, the case provides a clear view of the interior. Integrated ARGB lighting is located on the front panel and within the main chamber, controllable via a dedicated button on the front I/O. This I/O panel also includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port. To simplify system maintenance, the chassis is equipped with removable dust filters and a dedicated cable management system.
