The ASUS TUF Gaming H7 is a wired, over-ear headset built around 53 mm ASUS Essence drivers with neodymium magnets. Its closed-back acoustic system is designed to isolate game audio and limit sound leakage. For PC users, the headset supports 7.1 virtual surround sound, which is enabled through its integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP). The construction features a durable stainless steel headband for structural reinforcement. Its large ear cushions combine fabric and leatherette materials, engineered to reduce pressure and improve breathability during extended use.

For team communication, the headset includes a detachable, unidirectional boom microphone. An in-line controller is integrated into the 1.2-meter cable, providing direct access to volume adjustment and a microphone mute switch.
