Wiser is a smart home system that conveniently and easily enhances home comfort, security, and energy efficiency. The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be controlled wirelessly in different ways. With the Wiser phone app, you can create convenient scene controls, schedules, or automations based on weather changes, for example. The devices also communicate with each other, so home functions can be automated without user intervention. The Wiser system can be installed with standard cabling or wirelessly. The hub creates a certified Zigbee 3.0 mesh network in the home, to which other devices are connected. The device is also connected to the Schneider Electric cloud service, which enables secure remote access and notifications when you are away. The hub should be placed in as open and central a location as possible, even though each Wiser device connected to mains power acts as a message router, enabling a very wide and reliable system. The hub can be connected to the home's broadband via a network cable (Recommended connection method RJ45, not included) or via Wi-Fi. The device can be installed in a standard junction box (installation depth 24mm), directly on the wall, or as a freestanding unit on a table. The optical Wiser smart smoke detector brings smart security to your smart home. The smoke detector detects smoke and sudden temperature increases and alerts with a loud (85dB 3m) alarm sound and sends a notification to your mobile phone*. With the Wiser app, the smoke detector can be connected to smart home automation, allowing you to automatically shut off power outlets in the event of a fire or set all home cameras to record events to a memory card, for example. The Wiser app also reminds you to test the smoke detector's functionality at regular intervals. The status of the device can be checked via a clear LED light, and if you want to silence the device temporarily (10min), this can be done conveniently by briefly pressing the front of the device. The smoke detector can also be used without the Wiser app, in which case it functions as a traditional smoke detector.
