Wiser is a smart home system that affordably and easily enhances home comfort, security, and energy efficiency. The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be controlled wirelessly in different ways. With the Wiser phone app, you can create convenient scene controls, schedules, or automations based on weather variations. The devices also communicate with each other, allowing home functions to be automated without user intervention. The Wiser system can be installed with standard cabling or wirelessly. The hub creates a certified Zigbee 3.0 mesh network in the home to which other devices are connected. The device is also connected to the Schneider Electric cloud service, enabling secure remote access and notifications when away. The hub should be placed in as open and central a location as possible, even though each mains-powered Wiser device also acts as a message router, enabling a very extensive and reliable system. The hub can be connected to the home's broadband via a network cable (Recommended connection method RJ45, not included) or via Wi-Fi. The device can be installed in a standard junction box (installation depth 24mm), directly on the wall, or freestanding on a table. Power supply options: 1) 230V with the included adapter and USB cable, 2) 12VDC/0.5A to the device's cable connectors (transformer not included). IP20, operating temperature 0-40C. The optical Wiser smart smoke detector brings smart security to your smart home. The smoke detector detects smoke and sudden temperature increases and alerts with a loud (85dB 3m) sound and sends a notification to your mobile phone*. With the Wiser app, the smoke detector can be connected to smart home automation, allowing you to automatically shut off power outlets in the event of a fire or set all home cameras to record events to a memory card. The Wiser app also reminds you to test the smoke detector's operation at regular intervals. The device's status can be checked with a clear LED light, and if you want to temporarily silence the device (10min), this can be easily done by briefly pressing the front of the device. The smoke detector can also be used without the Wiser app, in which case it functions like a traditional smoke detector. The detector can be wirelessly chained to other Wiser smoke detectors, providing comprehensive alarm coverage throughout the home if smoke or a sudden temperature increase is detected in any room. A ceiling/wall mounting plate, screws, and user manual are included. Installation information: The device can be installed on a flat ceiling, sloping ceiling, or wall. The smoke detector has a built-in battery with a lifespan equal to the recommended maximum lifespan of smoke detectors, approximately 10 years. The battery is not replaceable. The door/window sensor can easily automate the Wiser home with access control. For example, the sensor can trigger scenes, control Wiser-compatible devices, or notify the user's phone when doors are opened.

The battery-powered sensor is easy to install with the included mounting plate using either screws or double-sided tape. The sensor operates reliably magnetically. Battery life approx. 5 years depending on use. The battery is replaceable by the user.
