The TP-Link Deco BE25 is a dual-band mesh system utilizing the Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) standard for wireless network coverage. This 1-pack unit delivers a combined theoretical maximum speed of 3600 Mbit/s across both frequency bands. The 5 GHz band provides up to 2882 Mbit/s, while the 2.4 GHz band offers up to 688 Mbit/s of throughput. The unit is engineered with intelligent mesh technology, allowing for smooth, centralized management and continuous roaming for supported client devices.

For high-speed wired devices, each BE25 unit includes two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which automatically detect whether they are being used for WAN or LAN connections. The unit maintains stable device connectivity across its coverage area using four internal antennas, which leverage MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies. This configuration is designed to handle network loads involving up to 150 concurrently connected devices.

Network management is handled via a web interface or the dedicated Deco application, offering configuration access and system monitoring. Security layers include modern WPA3 encryption, Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall features, and comprehensive parental control options. The system also supports Quality of Service (QoS) protocols and various VPN configurations, including OpenVPN and PPTP/L2TP.
