The ASUS RT-BE88U is a dual-band WLAN router operating on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, designed for demanding networking environments requiring high capacity and throughput. It operates across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, providing a maximum aggregate wireless transfer rate of 7200 Mbit/s. The 5 GHz band achieves transfer rates up to 5764 Mbit/s, accommodating bandwidth-intensive activities such as 8K streaming or concurrent high-resolution gaming sessions. The inclusion of MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies contributes to improved signal stability and efficient data distribution across numerous connected clients.
