The hub creates a certified Zigbee 3.0 mesh network in your home, to which other devices are connected. The device is also connected to the Schneider Electric cloud service, which enables secure remote access and notifications when you are away. It is recommended to place the hub in as open and central a location as possible, although each Wiser device connected to mains power also acts as a message router, enabling a very wide and reliable system. The device can be installed in a standard flush-mounted box (mounting depth 24mm), directly on the wall or as a stand-alone unit on a table. Operates either wirelessly via Wi-Fi or with an Ethernet cable. In addition to control, the device supports energy measurement and visualization. Use case 1: You can harness various floor lamps as part of lighting scenarios in the living room when they are controlled by a smart Wiser socket plug. Use case 2: The electrical device in the socket plug can also be controlled by other Wiser devices: for example, a temperature/humidity meter can activate a humidifier or a separate heater when conditions change. Use case 3: The Wiser plug also measures the energy used by the device. The consumption visualization can be viewed in the application on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
