You can control the light very conveniently by voice (Google, Alexa, SmartThings) or via your smartphone - with the Yeelight app and the Xiaomi Home app. Of course, you can still switch it on and off with the conventional light switch. In the Yeelight app you can specify whether the light should always come on in the setting last used or in a specific setting that you define yourself.

Installation in three easy steps
Install your Yeelight bulb in three simple steps: screw it in, download the Yeelight app and add the bulb in the app. Thanks to the built-in WiFi module, you don't need a hub or gateway, just your WiFi network. Simply switch on the bulb with the light switch and ensure a stable internet connection (2.4 GHz). Then open the Yeelight app - or Xiaomi Home app - and follow the instructions on the screen to add the device. Since Yeelight is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, you can also use the Xiaomi app. The devices are automatically added to both apps if you have both installed, as Yeelight uses the same cloud server as Xiaomi. You can then integrate the lamp into Alexa or Google as usual.

App features at a glance
With the smart GU10 bulbs you can control your lighting from anywhere. When you are on vacation, you can switch the lights on and off regularly to suggest presence and prevent break-ins. Or if you forgot to turn off the lights, you can do that on the go. You can also set schedules so that the lights come on automatically when you get up in the morning and go off automatically when you leave the house. Or set a timer at night to fall asleep with the lights dimmed and without them burning all night. You can also add several bulbs to a lighting group in order to switch them on and off simultaneously, to set the same brightness.
