The Keychron M4-A23 (8K) is designed for high-speed tracking and precision. It uses a PixArt 3950 optical sensor with a maximum resolution of 30,000 DPI and an 8,000 Hz polling rate to reduce input latency. Users can choose from polling rates of 125, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, and 8,000 Hz. The sensor tracks at speeds up to 750 inches per second with a maximum acceleration of 50 G. Weighing 35 grams, the mouse is built to reduce inertia during rapid hand movements.

Connectivity options include 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, or a wired USB Type-C connection. The rechargeable battery provides up to 60 hours of use. A USB Type-C to Type-A cable and extension adapter are included to switch between wired and wireless modes. The mouse is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS and tracks accurately on most surfaces without needing a dedicated mat. It measures 86 mm in length, 54 mm in width, and 33 mm in height.
