Garmin Forerunner 70 Smartwatch, Cool Lavender

The Garmin Forerunner 70 is an entry-level GPS smartwatch designed for structured training. It uses multi-system GNSS—including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo—to record routes and distances. Optical sensors monitor your heart rate, daily stress, and blood oxygen levels to track physical exertion. The watch calculates metrics such as VO2 Max, Training Status, Recovery Time, and Acute Load to help monitor your fitness progress. Nightly tracking measures heart rate variability and generates a sleep score to assess recovery. The battery lasts up to 13 days in standard mode and provides 23 hours of continuous GPS tracking.

Designed for all-day wear, the watch has a fibre-reinforced polymer case and a flexible silicone band. It connects via Bluetooth and ANT+ to sync data with iOS and Android devices through the Garmin Connect app. The watch displays smart notifications and call alerts from a paired phone. It can also control media playback on a connected phone, though it does not have internal audio storage. Pre-loaded profiles support various activities, including swimming, elliptical, and stair-stepper exercises. It is water-resistant up to 50 metres, making it suitable for pool workouts and rain. It also automatically detects and records activities.
