The Samsung HW-Q800H/EN 5.1.2ch soundbar with wireless subwoofer is designed to upgrade television audio for home cinema. It uses an 11-speaker array to deliver 5.1.2-channel sound, providing the directional height and surround channels required for native Dolby Atmos. The soundbar also supports traditional surround formats, including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. A separate active subwoofer provides low-frequency effects for movies and music; as it connects wirelessly, you can place the unit anywhere in the room without needing long cables.

Physical connectivity includes an HDMI input and output. The HDMI output supports eARC, allowing for lossless audio transmission from a compatible television. An optical input is available for older displays or secondary media players. Wireless connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3.
