The HAMA 8900 is a smartwatch with a 42mm round case constructed from aluminium and plastic, paired with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display. The screen provides a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and includes an always-on function for continuous information access. Weighing 40 grams, the device is designed for daily wear and activity monitoring. The functional design is completed by a removable silicone band and an IP68 rating, which provides resistance to dust and water ingress during general use and light workouts.

This smartwatch integrates multiple sensors for health and fitness monitoring, including an active heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen sensor, and an accelerometer. Built-in GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo receivers allow for location tracking during outdoor activities within its multisport modes.
