D-Link DMS-1250-28P/E - Managed PoE switch, Black

The D-Link DMS-1250-28P/E is a 24-port 2.5G PoE managed switch equipped with four 10G SFP+ uplink slots. It is a Layer 2 network appliance designed to provide multi-gigabit data speeds and power delivery to edge devices. The 24 RJ-45 ports operate at 2.5G, supporting high-bandwidth hardware. With a total switching capacity of 200 Gbit/s, the device handles high-load data traffic efficiently. All copper ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE), drawing from a 475 W total power budget, allowing for the direct connection of wireless access points and IP cameras without the need for external power injectors.

The unit measures 440 × 250 × 44 mm and is designed for standard rack mounting. Four internal fans provide active cooling to dissipate heat when the hardware operates at its maximum power consumption of 592.19 W. Administrators can manage the switch via a web-based GUI or a command-line interface. Traffic and security are controlled using built-in access control lists, DHCP snooping, and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. The switch also supports link aggregation, allowing multiple ports to be combined for increased bandwidth and redundancy.
