The Sony SARS8.CEJ is a pair of wireless rear speakers engineered to expand a compatible BRAVIA Theatre soundbar system. Their primary function is to deliver dedicated rear-channel audio, creating a more complete surround sound environment for movies and music. The speakers integrate with Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, which synthesizes multiple phantom speakers around the listener. This process generates a wider and more immersive sound field without requiring additional physical units. Each speaker contains a tweeter and a woofer to handle a full range of frequencies.

These speakers connect wirelessly to a central soundbar, eliminating the need to run cables across the room. The system provides a total of 100W RMS rated power. Designed with a compact footprint, the units can be placed on a surface or mounted to a wall to suit different room layouts. The black housing is constructed from recycled plastic materials. All configuration and sound adjustments are managed through the BRAVIA Connect application on a supported mobile device when paired with the main system.
