TP-Link VIGI C540V - Network Camera, White, Black

The TP-Link VIGI C540V is a 4MP wired outdoor camera designed for centralised IP surveillance. It captures video at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels using a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and connects via a 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 port. The device features a dual-lens varifocal configuration and pan-and-tilt functionality, with a 120-degree vertical tilt range for monitoring wide areas. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE), with a typical power draw of 2.9 watts and a maximum of 14 watts, removing the need for separate electrical adapters.

Housed in a white and black plastic enclosure, the camera is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. An IP66 weatherproof rating ensures operation in exposed environments. The 430-gram unit is designed for ceiling mounting. Configuration is managed via a web-based interface, and the system supports ONVIF standards for integration with third-party video management platforms. Security features include password protection, HTTPS encryption, digest authentication, and IP address filtering to restrict unauthorised access. Built-in microphones and speakers enable two-way audio for communication at the site.
