TP-Link VIGI InSight S455 - Network Camera, White

The TP-Link VIGI InSight S455 5MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera (4 mm) is an outdoor surveillance device built to capture high-definition footage in various lighting conditions. The camera operates via a single 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet RJ45 port. Its 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor records at a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels. A fixed 4 mm lens provides an 88° horizontal and 105.4° diagonal field of view. In low-light conditions, the camera uses both infrared and white LEDs to maintain visibility up to 30 metres. Power is supplied either through a standard DC input or via Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. PoE allows for data transmission and power delivery over a single network cable, with a maximum power consumption of 12 W.

The device has a metal housing with an IP67 rating, ensuring it remains operational in wet and dusty outdoor environments. Designed for ceiling mounting, it includes the necessary installation hardware. Administrators can monitor and configure the camera remotely using web-based interfaces or cloud-managed platforms. To manage network bandwidth, the unit supports H.264, H.264+, H.265, and H.265+ video compression formats. Local recording is supported via an integrated MicroSD card slot that accepts cards up to 512 GB. Built-in analytics include video motion detection and human or vehicle target classification. The unit also features an integrated microphone, a speaker for two-way audio, and an onboard siren.
