The CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL Wireless is a mechanical keyboard in a compact, tenkeyless format. It provides three connection options: a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, Bluetooth 5.2 for multi-device pairing, and a detachable USB-A cable for a direct wired connection. Internally, a gasket-mounted design and multiple layers of sound-dampening material are used to reduce acoustic resonance and provide a more consistent typing feel. The keyboard is equipped with hot-swappable sockets, enabling the user to replace the pre-installed CHERRY MX2A RED switches without soldering.

For gaming-specific applications, the device supports a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz in wired mode and 4000 Hz via the 2.4 GHz connection, alongside N-Key Rollover to ensure accurate registration of simultaneous inputs. The unit integrates a small LCD display and a programmable rotary knob for system monitoring and on-the-fly adjustments. Its chassis is constructed from aluminium, and it comes with double-shot PBT keycaps, which offer increased durability and resistance to surface wear over time. The rechargeable battery is rated for up to 200 hours of operation per charge.
