The ASUS VA279HG is a 27-inch monitor featuring an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The panel technology facilitates wide 178-degree viewing angles for consistent image reproduction from various positions. It operates with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1ms Motion Picture Response Time (MPRT) to deliver fluid motion and reduce visible blurring in fast-paced video or interface animations. The screen has an anti-glare surface to minimize reflections from ambient light sources.

This display incorporates Adaptive-Sync technology, which synchronizes the panel's refresh rate with a compatible graphics card's output to eliminate screen tearing.
