The CMF Buds 2 are true wireless earbuds built around an 11 mm dynamic driver with a Neodymium N52 magnet for consistent audio performance. Sound is processed with Dirac technology to provide a balanced frequency response across various media types. These earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable wireless connection and support both AAC and SBC audio codecs for compatibility with multiple devices. The in-ear canal design, along with three included sizes of silicone ear tips, is intended to provide a secure fit and a degree of passive noise isolation from the surrounding environment.

The earbuds incorporate a Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation system capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 48 dB. A total of six microphones with noise-reduction technology are used for clear voice transmission during calls. The total playback time extends to 55 hours with the charging case, which supports fast charging via its USB-C port. An IP55 rating indicates protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, while dual-device pairing and a dedicated Game Mode offer added functional versatility through the companion Nothing X application.
