The Ubiquiti G3 Access Reader Flex (UA-G3-Flex-B) is a third-generation access control reader for the UniFi security ecosystem. The device authenticates users via NFC cards or mobile credentials, including Apple Touch Pass and the UniFi Identity app. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.1 for mobile access requests. A single RJ45 Ethernet port connects the reader to the network, which also provides power via Power over Ethernet (PoE).
The unit is designed for recessed installation in walls or door frames. Its exterior features an aluminium alloy frame with glass and polycarbonate components. The weather-resistant enclosure is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. A capacitive touch keypad on the front allows for manual PIN entry. The reader provides visual feedback via a multi-colour LED and audio prompts through an integrated speaker.
