Zyxel NWA50BE - Wireless Access Point, White

The Zyxel BE5100 is a dual-band wireless access point designed for ceiling mounting in high-density environments. It supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and offers a maximum combined throughput of 5100 Mbit/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. A 4-stream architecture manages data flow, providing up to 4324 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. MU-MIMO technology allows the unit to communicate with multiple devices at once, and integrated mesh technology enables the unit to connect with other compatible access points to extend the network.

Wired connectivity is provided via one RJ-45 Ethernet port, which supports 1000 Mbit/s and 2500 Mbit/s speeds. The Zyxel BE5100 can be powered through Power over Ethernet (PoE) or the included AC power adapter. Security options include WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption, along with support for tagged VLANs for network segmentation. For administration, the device uses NebulaFlex to allow a choice between local web-based management and centralized cloud control. A receiver sensitivity of -99 dBm helps maintain stable connections for distant or low-power devices.
