The ASUS ZenWiFi BT8 is a tri-band mesh router utilizing the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard and 4096-QAM modulation. It operates across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, providing a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 14,000 Mbit/s. Band speeds reach 688 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz, 4,323 Mbit/s on 5 GHz, and 8,643 Mbit/s on 6 GHz. This system uses seven internal antennas and supports MU-MIMO and intelligent mesh technology. It covers a maximum area of 800 square meters.

Wired connectivity includes one 2.5G WAN port and three RJ45 LAN ports supporting 2.5G and 1G speeds. The hardware features one USB 3.0 port and supports mobile modem compatibility for backup. Security functions include a built-in firewall, URL filtering, and VPN server support for OpenVPN and WireGuard. Network management is handled through a web-based interface offering QoS and parental controls. This desktop router measures 159 mm in width and 186 mm in height.
