The Fractal Design Epoch is a mid-tower chassis engineered for airflow performance. It incorporates a full mesh front panel to maximize air intake, complemented by three pre-installed 120 mm Momentum fans. A fourth 120 mm fan is positioned at the rear for exhaust, creating a direct and balanced thermal environment for high-performance components. The case is constructed from steel and features a tinted tempered glass side panel for viewing the internal hardware. Dust filters are included to help maintain a clean interior.

This case supports ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, with seven expansion slots for various configurations. It provides clearances for CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height and ATX power supplies up to 255 mm in length. For liquid cooling, it can house radiators up to 360 mm in the front and 240 mm at the top. Storage options include a combo cage for two 3.5" or 2.5" drives and two dedicated 2.5" mounts. The top I/O includes two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, and a combo audio jack.
