The Fractal Design North XL is a full-tower chassis designed for high-performance component builds. Its construction integrates FSC-certified wood elements and metal alloy details into a spacious enclosure that supports motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor. The design prioritizes airflow with an open front panel and flexible fan mounting options. A clear tempered glass side panel provides a full view of the internal hardware configuration, while the overall dimensions afford ample room for large components and simplified cable management.

This case accommodates extensive cooling hardware, including front radiators up to 420 mm and top radiators up to 360 mm. It arrives with three pre-installed 140 mm PWM fans at the front to establish a baseline for thermal performance. The interior layout is designed for an intuitive building process and supports power supplies up to 290 mm in length. This RC variant is also compatible with reverse connector motherboards, allowing for a build with minimal visible cabling from the front.
