The SINGER Heavy Duty HD0405S is an overlock machine designed to stitch, trim, and overcast fabric edges in one operation. It sews at up to 1300 stitches per minute, making it suitable for high-volume work. The machine supports 2-, 3-, and 4-thread configurations, allowing you to select the appropriate seam strength and style for different textiles. A differential feed mechanism manages fabric movement to prevent puckering on knits or rippling on lightweight materials. Overcasting helps prevent fraying and secures fabric edges for construction or repair.

The HD0405S features a rigid metal frame and a stainless steel base plate for stability. A built-in free arm allows for sewing cylindrical items such as cuffs and trouser legs. You can adjust the stitch length between 1 and 4 mm and the stitch width from 3.5 to 5.7 mm using side-mounted controls. Two integrated LED lights illuminate the sewing surface and internal threading paths. Thread tension is adjustable for all needles and loopers to accommodate various thread weights and fabric thicknesses. An included accessory kit contains a spare bottom knife, tweezers, and a needle set.
