The NZXT H9 Flow is a dual-chamber mid-tower chassis engineered for high-volume airflow and extensive component compatibility. Its construction consists of SGCC steel and two tempered glass panels, which offer an unobstructed view of the main hardware chamber. The dual-chamber layout isolates the power supply and storage drives, which helps to streamline cable management and improve thermal performance by dedicating the main compartment to the motherboard, CPU, and GPU. This case accommodates multiple motherboard sizes, including E-ATX models up to 277 mm wide.

Cooling configurations are highly flexible, with support for up to ten fans and multiple large liquid-cooling radiators. The case includes mounts for 420 mm radiators on the top and front panels, as well as a 360 mm radiator at the bottom. It arrives with three 140 mm front fans and one 120 mm rear fan pre-installed to establish a baseline airflow path. The top-mounted I/O panel provides access to two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, and a combination audio jack for connecting peripherals.
