The CORSAIR FRAME 5000D RS is a mid-tower case constructed with a steel frame, a tempered glass side panel, and a steel front panel designed for high airflow. It offers broad component compatibility, accommodating motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor and models with reverse-connector layouts. The spacious interior is designed for modularity, providing a flexible foundation for various high-performance hardware configurations. This design prioritizes direct airflow paths to critical components.

For thermal management, the case includes four pre-installed 140mm RS PWM fans with daisy-chain connections to simplify wiring. It supports extensive cooling expansion, with mounts for up to three simultaneous 360mm radiators located at the front, top, and side. The InfiniRail mounting system provides precise vertical adjustment for side-mounted cooling hardware. System assembly is facilitated by the RapidRoute 2.0 cable management system, ample clearance, and an integrated GPU anti-sag arm to prevent graphics card sag.
