ASUS RP-N12 - Wi-Fi Range Extender

The ASUS RP-N12 N300 range extender eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones in homes and small offices. It captures an existing 2.4 GHz signal and rebroadcasts it to provide coverage in areas where the primary router’s signal is weak. The device supports the Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standard with a maximum data rate of 300 Mbps. Performance is optimized for the 2.4 GHz band, suitable for web browsing and media use. It is backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g hardware, allowing you to expand an existing network without replacing current equipment.

Two external antennas improve signal reception and stability. These use MIMO technology to manage data streams across the link. A 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port on the base allows the device to function as a media bridge, connecting wired equipment such as a smart TV or game console. You can configure the unit using the WPS button for quick pairing. LED indicators show the status of the LAN, power, and WLAN connections. The 110-gram wall-plug design sits directly in a standard socket, saving desk space. The chassis also includes an on/off switch and a reset button for manual control.
