The CHIEFTEC Night Hunter is a mid-tower chassis constructed with a focus on thermal performance, utilizing a perforated steel front panel to maximize air intake. It arrives with four pre-installed 140mm PWM fans, with three positioned at the front and one at the rear, to establish an effective airflow path out of the box. The interior accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX. The chassis is also compatible with newer back-connect motherboard designs, such as ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero, which can simplify cable management for specific builds.

The case offers extensive liquid cooling support, accommodating radiators up to 360mm in both the front and top panels. For storage, it provides mounting locations for two 3.5-inch drives and three 2.5-inch drives using a combination cage and dedicated placements. Component clearances allow for CPU air coolers up to 178mm in height and standard ATX power supplies up to 200mm in length. A tempered glass side panel allows for an unobstructed view of internal components, while integrated cable management routing aids in maintaining a clean system interior.
