The Be Quiet! Pure Base 501 LX is a mid-tower case constructed from steel, ABS, and a tempered glass side panel, with a white exterior finish. It is designed to accommodate ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. The chassis is configured for airflow, featuring a mesh front panel and a cooling system that includes three pre-installed 120mm ARGB PWM fans at the front and one 140mm ARGB PWM fan at the rear. These components provide direct air intake and exhaust for internal hardware.

The internal layout supports a variety of components, including up to two 3.5-inch drives and additional mounting points for 2.5-inch solid-state drives. It provides seven expansion slots for peripheral cards. For liquid cooling, the case supports radiators up to 360 mm in the front, 240 mm on the top, and 140 mm at the rear. Component clearances allow for CPU coolers up to 178 mm in height and standard ATX PS/2 power supplies with a maximum length of 200 mm.
