The Shark Detect Clean & Empty IW3612EU is a cordless stick vacuum that uses four sensor technologies to adapt its cleaning performance. DirtDetect, EdgeDetect, FloorDetect, and LightDetect automatically adjust the motor's suction power and the brush roll's speed in response to debris concentration, proximity to walls, and surface type. The QuadClean brush roll is engineered for use on both carpeted and hard floor surfaces. To prevent tangles during operation, the system incorporates Anti Hair Wrap technology, which actively separates and removes hair from the bristles.

This vacuum is paired with a 2-liter, self-emptying base that also functions as its charging dock. The base collects and stores dirt from the vacuum's dust bin, reducing the frequency of manual disposal.
