The Mercusys MR47BE is a Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) router engineered for high-throughput networking environments. It operates across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz spectrums, providing a maximum theoretical aggregate wireless throughput of 9.3 Gbps. The advanced Multi-Link Operation (MLO) protocol allows compatible client devices to transmit data concurrently across multiple bands, improving stability and reducing latency. Six external omnidirectional antennas utilize Beamforming technology to focus signal strength toward connected client devices, ensuring reliable coverage.

Wired connectivity is supported by four 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including one port designated for WAN connection and three dedicated LAN ports. The router incorporates MU-MIMO technology and Quality of Service (QoS) controls for managing network load efficiently across up to 300 connected devices. Standard security features include WPA3 encryption, a built-in firewall, and options for Dynamic DNS and VPN protocols, including OpenVPN and WireGuard. The unit supports compatibility with the EasyMesh standard for scaling the network with additional mesh nodes.
