The MERCUSYS ME30 AC1200 Wi-Fi range extender extends your wireless coverage by repeating the signal from your existing router. It uses the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, reaching a theoretical combined speed of 1200 Mbps. The unit operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies simultaneously, providing speeds of up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band for bandwidth-heavy tasks and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band for general connectivity. It is compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac routers.

The extender plugs directly into a standard wall socket. Two external antennas help improve signal reach and stability. A Fast Ethernet port is located on the side, allowing you to connect a wired device such as a games console or desktop computer. A multicolor LED indicator changes colour to help you find the best position for the unit relative to your router. Setup is straightforward using the WPS button, and the device also includes an Access Point mode to create a new Wi-Fi hotspot when connected via Ethernet.
