The higher frequency 5 GHz band provides up to 2400 Mbit/s for demanding applications such as 4K media streaming and low-latency gaming. The 2.4 GHz band handles connections up to 1200 Mbit/s, typically used for IoT devices and extended coverage areas.

Wired connectivity includes 1 port 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for primary high-speed connections to devices like a NAS or desktop computer, and 3 ports of 1 Gigabit Ethernet for standard wired peripherals.
