Beyond its surveillance capabilities, the G5 Pro functions as a hub for Aqara's Zigbee and Thread devices, supporting up to 80 Zigbee devices or 40 Thread devices. It also serves as a Matter controller, enhancing compatibility with various smart home ecosystems such as Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
