The PHANTEKS Evolv X2 is a mid-tower chassis constructed from a combination of aluminum, steel, and tempered glass. Its internal layout is designed to promote a vertical airflow path, drawing cool air from the bottom and exhausting it through the top to cool core components. The case offers broad compatibility, accommodating motherboard form factors ranging from Mini-ITX to EATX. Integrated D-RGB illumination is included along the front and side, which can be managed with compatible motherboard software or an integrated controller.

This chassis provides extensive support for both air and liquid cooling setups. It can house radiators up to 360 mm on the top, front, and side panels, with additional support for smaller radiators on the rear and bottom. For storage, the case provides a flexible combination of drive cages and mounting points for multiple 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives. The design includes dedicated cable management channels and tie-down points to help create an organized build. The front I/O panel is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports.
