The Keychron Q6 Max is a full-size mechanical keyboard featuring a 100-key ISO layout within a 6063 aluminum chassis. It supports three connection modes: a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless link, Bluetooth 5.1 for multi-device pairing, and a detachable USB-C wired interface. For gaming, the 2.4 GHz connection provides a 1000 Hz polling rate for responsive input registration. The keyboard's internal structure utilizes a double-gasket mount and multiple layers of acoustic foam, which dampen sound and influence the typing sensation.

This fully assembled version includes Gateron Jupiter Brown mechanical switches with a 2 mm actuation point and an operational lifespan rated for 80 million keystrokes. The keycaps are made from durable double-shot PBT plastic in a KSA profile, designed to resist surface wear over time. It is equipped with south-facing RGB backlighting that can be customized on a per-key basis. Full support for QMK and VIA firmware enables users to remap keys, configure layers, and create macros, with changes saved to 256 KB of onboard memory.
